The rescue

The bar was renamed Butcher & Brew Pub. Reviews are excellent, with compliments for the food and service and the odd complaint.
What happened next
After the rescue, Nick was at the bar nearly every day and Kat had established herself as a leader. The bar did not, however, keep the Butcher and Brew Pub identity Taffer had given it, reverting instead to the Drunken Donkey name. On its website, the business explains that it tried several sister restaurant concepts and the Bar Rescue rebrand before returning to its roots, positioning Drunken Donkey as a relaxed retreat built around craft beer and food.
