What happened next
Urban Pie, a Kirkwood, Atlanta pizzeria and bar trading since 2007, was filmed in May 2025. Taffer kept the established name, adding the tagline 'Bar & Pizzeria', and the bar retained the updated signage and branding, hosting a watch party for its episode premiere in April 2026. The transition was not smooth: after regulars objected to changes to the pizza dough and menu, the bar restored its original dough recipe and, about a month later, brought back many older menu items while keeping some of the new dishes. Recent reviews were mixed, with many positive comments alongside a significant number of one-star reviews.
