The rescue
Jon Taffer relaunched The Broadway Club as The Roost.
The bar was renamed to The Roost. Reviews are mostly positive, with praise for the food and service. The bar no longer serves fried chicken, and its operators claimed on social media that the show had pressured them to drink on the job.
What happened next
After the rescue, Patty stopped drinking while working and began repaying Randy, while Sarah took on more responsibility as manager and earned more as a result. Sales at The Roost rose following the changes. The Roost closed in early 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and local health restrictions and did not reopen. The Tooele site was later occupied by a new restaurant, Pit Stop Bar and Grill, which appeared to have some connection to The Roost and was reusing elements of it.
