The rescue
Jon Taffer relaunched The Underworld Grill & Bar as The End.
The End closed in February 2016, after failing to renew its lease. It had moved to a location a few doors away, and business was reportedly up 40 percent after the rescue.
What happened next
Eight weeks after the rescue, sales at The End had improved by 40 percent, and relations between staff and management had improved, reducing turnover. The bar then relocated because of problems with the original site, moving in March 2014 from 3550 S. Decatur Blvd to 4821 Spring Mountain Rd, Suite G, a short distance away. The move meant the bar lost most of the renovations made during the episode, although it kept the equipment.
